At Modesto Executive Electric, the projects we’re proudest of were never built alone. Every school modernization, every government facility, every large-scale install across the Central Valley came together because of the clients who trusted us and the partners who showed up alongside us. This year, we wanted to say thank you in a way that felt as personal as those relationships.
Meet Diesel Fuel, our own private barrel bourbon.
Diesel Fuel was distilled and bottled by Tin City Distillery in Paso Robles, California, from a private barrel selected for Modesto Executive Electric. Our barrel, Private Barrel No. 19, carries a hand-engraved barrel head featuring the face of Diesel, the loyal pup behind the name. Every bottle from this first batch shares the same portrait on its label, along with the details that make it ours:
- Bourbon whiskey, aged 2 years
- 80 proof (40% ABV), 750 ml
- Batch No. 1
It’s a small-batch pour with a big story, and it was made to be shared.
Why “Diesel Fuel”?
Anyone who has spent time on a jobsite knows what keeps things running: hard work, good people, and something to fuel the long days. The name is a nod to that grit, and to Diesel, whose steady, furry and friendly face who is part of the shop family now, too! Diesel is our beautiful dog and now his face is on some good whiskey too!
It felt like the right spirit (literally) to represent a company that has always been built on loyalty.
For over 37 years, our business has been about relationships and our clients and partners are the reason we get to do what we love. Diesel Fuel is our way of raising a glass to them and saying thank you for building with us.
A Gift for Our Clients and Partners
Bottles of Diesel Fuel will be presented as special gifts to the clients and partners who have been part of our story. It’s a limited release from a single barrel, which means once Batch No. 1 is gone, it’s gone. That’s exactly what makes it meaningful: a one-of-a-kind thank you for the people who make our work possible.
