Every April, Oakdale comes alive for Rodeo Week, and one of the most anticipated events on the calendar is the Oakdale Cowgirl Luncheon. This year, Modesto Executive Electric was honored to sponsor this beloved Central Valley tradition.

The 2026 luncheon was held on Wednesday, April 8, at the Gene Bianchi Community Center in Oakdale and drew a sold-out crowd dressed in their best western-chic attire. Cowboy servers, local fundraising efforts, and a warm community atmosphere made for an unforgettable afternoon.
At the heart of the celebration was the announcement of the 2026 Cowgirl of the Year, Kay Martinelli. The award recognizes a woman who embodies the spirit of the Oakdale community, and Kay was a well-deserved honoree. The room was filled with genuine excitement and support as she received the recognition.
Tori, Kevin, and members of the Modesto Executive Electric team were there to celebrate alongside the community. Proceeds from the event benefit the Oakdale Cowboy Museum, an institution dedicated to preserving the region’s rich ranching and rodeo heritage.

Congratulations to Kay Martinelli on this well-earned honor, and thank you to the organizers who put together such a spectacular event.
