National Women in Construction Week

We are woman-owned and that is something to celebrate absolutely. This industry hasn't always been that way, much like any other industry really. 

Every year March 1 through March 7 is designated as "National Women in Construction Week." 

What's additionally great is that this week isn't just about highlighting women who are already paving the way, The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) uses the week to raise awareness about growing opportunities in the industry for women. 

This industry does have a lot of opportunity. It's just one more area where women can grow. 

More on this topic will be coming throughout this week, but let's stop and celebrate each other. So to all other women in the industry, let us stop for a minute and celebrate our accomplishments!

While it's amazing to celebrate women in business, there's also a pretty profound power that comes when two people (like Kevin and I) can come together and run the business. There is an incredibly special harmony that comes from it and I think that's what I covet the most right now.

So here's a big cheers also to Kevin, my partner in life and business. It's essential we celebrate each other too, and celebrate all of our loyal employees. You know who you are, we celebrate you too, this week. All people are essential to make this all come together to work!
