The 2nd Annual Lake Day 2018 company getaway weekend was a huge success!
Having a strong culture and a team that can work together harmoniously is paramount to our company's success, and there's nothing like getting away for a weekend and escaping into relaxation mode. This year we went to the lake, did some camping, and added a party boat and jet skis to the mix. Can't go wrong with that concoction, right?! We got nothing but high-fives for another epic weekend getaway!
This was our 2nd year doing a lake day at the chosen Don Pedro Lake. A big shout out to Kevin Dias on the team who offered to bring his boat both years, a fantastic addition to the activities. The company, of course, provided all the food and beverages, not to mention, our GM Kevin Simpson, acted as our Chief Chef for the weekend. (Nice work, Kevin!)
The best way to get to know your team is to sit down and relax outside of the day-to-day work setting. And, we got to sit around the campfire, chat, and relax, which is just about as relaxing as it can get. This is going to be an ongoing yearly tradition for the MEE family as it's the foundation that helps our company be all the more successful. If we as an entire team are happy working together, then that means the culture is healthy which is a key ingredient to our long-term, continued success.
