Journeyman Electrician
Details of Position:
We are seeking a California DAS Licensed General Journeyman level electrician for prevailing wage, commercial and industrial projects in Northern California.Competitive pay based on your experience and benefits available after probation period including Medical, 401k, paid sick leave, paid holidays and paid vacation. $32.00 - $78.75
Candidate must have a strong desire to be a part of a successful team at a growing company and have the desire to grow with us.
Essential Functions:- Ability to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and
fixtures. - Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the city, country, state and federal levels.
- Demonstrate the safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power).
- Demonstrate the ability to lay out and install GRC, EMT, and PVC conduit in a craftsman-like manner.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift and high lift.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50lbs and performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as multimeters and megohmmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workers.
- Self-starter yet team-oriented.
- It is a plus if you have experience operating digging, compacting and dirt moving equipment.
Necessary qualifications:
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible journey level electrical experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment background, live scan, and work screen.
- Must be available to work 8-hour day and night shifts, occasional weekends and overtime.
