Modesto Executive Electric at VBX Scholarship Golf 2026
On May 18, 2026, the Modesto Executive Electric team headed to the course for the Valley Builders Exchange's annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, and it was one for the books.
This year's tournament carried a fitting theme celebrating America's 250th anniversary, and the energy on the course matched the occasion. Our team came out in full force, sponsoring two foursomes and hosting a hole booth decked out in red, white, and blue, complete with a prize wheel, MEE giveaways, and good vibes all day long.
And the best part? One of our teams took home first place.
"We love showing up for events like this one. It's a chance to connect with the people we've been building alongside for years, celebrate this industry we're proud to be part of, and have a little fun doing it. And winning didn't hurt either!" said Tori Simpson, owner of Modesto Executive Electric.
Beyond the competition, the Valley Builders Exchange Scholarship Golf Tournament raises funds for student scholarships supporting the children of VBX member employees pursuing college or trade school. Since 1998, the organization has awarded over $359,900 in scholarships to students across the region. That's a mission worth showing up for.
